Pykrete is a composite mixture of approximatly 14% wood pulp/saw dust to 86% ice (by weight). Once mixed and frozen a very light yet strong material is created. Pykrete takes a long time (in respect to regular ice) to melt and has been known to be bullet resistant. Tests made by some users of a 50/50 mix produced some very interesting results although no exact scientific measurements were found to compare various mixes of Pykrete and compare against various woods, ice, concrete, metal, etc...
